Amazon Kindle (Original Model)

Thinking of buying a Kindle? Well, the original 1st generation Kindle is a bit out of date. Even so, it is available on the used market. So, here is a Kindle review I got a while ago even though that model is a bit out of date now:

kindle review

The Amazon Kindle is a wonderful device and will change the way you read. Imagine being able to go on a trip with a whole library of books and any magazine or newspaper you want all in one small device that you can carry with you and weighs less than a pound. Why drag around a big hardcover book or a stack of magazines when you can carry the lightweight Kindle and have the same reading enjoyment.

The Kindle is such an easy device to use. If you go to the Kindle store, you can browse through a selection of novels, manuals, magazines and newspapers. Just push on the buy button and purchase your selection. It is then instantly available on your Kindle, ready to start reading. There are no contracts when you buy a Kindle. You simply buy the books and magazines that you want to read with no minimum or monthly fees.

The Amazon Kindle allows you to download newspapers from all over the world. If you’re on a trip and missing home, just download your local newspaper and you have all the news you need right at your fingertips. It can be used on airplanes. All you do is turn off the wireless switch.

The original Amazon Kindle is particularly useful for those individuals who are limited in the amount of belongings they can have with them, especially military personnel. But, it’s not just for those on the run. It’s just as nice to get into your own bed at night, pull out your Kindle and enjoy a good book before you go to sleep.

The Kindle can also be used by medical personnel in rural areas. By downloading medical manuals, all the information is easily accessible and available 24 hours a day without the need to carry around a huge book.
